Dry Lake Bed Desert Elopement | Anquinette & Charles

Anquinette & Charles (AKA Tony), from the moment I met them, I knew we were going to have a great evening! They hired me only a few days before their special day, but that wasn't a problem. They were quick to decide on the Dry Lake Beds as a location and booked a wonderful officiant! We were all set for a weekend of adventuring outdoors for a sunset elopement in the vast desert. My favorite kind of wedding!

We started at the Aria with me oog-ling over all the windows and natural light! I mean this suite was any photographer's dream, after I figured out how to turn off all the lights in the room. I think I need to start exploring more Vegas hotel rooms and figure out how those futuristic light switches work!

The couples moms came along to witness their elopement. It was such a sweet touch and so special for them to share this moment and commitment with their mothers! Anquinette's mom, as well as Tony's, were both able to help her into her dress, put on her jewelry and make sure she looked perfect for her hubby to be!

Tony is the sweetest! He put a towel over his head, to make sure he didn't peak. This was a perfect, sweet first look. Anquinette was so excited to show off her super, sexy, form-fitted gown to her love and Tony was even more excited to see her in it!

The getting ready was completed with a quick toast of Hennessey, Tony's favorite, before heading off to the desert to get MARRIED!

The light was fading, but we made it to the Dry Lake Beds just in time for a few couple photos and the short, sweet ceremony by Carol (with xoxo, Jamelle).

I mean, I'm speechless!  This girl, her hair, that necklace, this chair, this sunset and the vast nothingness all combined together, equals perfection.

The way Tony looked at his gorgeous bride was priceless. They are so in love and so perfect for each other! I am so happy they chose to elope at the Dry Lake Beds in Las Vegas, so happy they found my work on Instagram and so happy for them to start their lives together as husband and wife!

Tony, you have a gorgeous, sweet and lovely gal and Anquinette you have yourself a super sweet, stud of a man!

Thank you for letting me capture your perfect love and hang out with you both and your sweet mamas!! The whole evening was so incredibly beautiful. I wish you the best as husband and wife with many, many years of happiness!

P.S. If you want to have a vow renewal yearly in Las Vegas, I wouldn't be mad in the slightest ;)

♡ Kristen
