Faustina & Eric | Bear's Best Las Vegas Wedding - Kristen Kay Photography

Faustina & Eric | Bear's Best Las Vegas Country Club Wedding

Faustina & Eric first met at a friend's apartment and started dating a couple of years later. They have been together for over 7 years and have fallen more and more in love each and every year. Faustina loves how Eric comforts her and tells her everything is going to be okay. Eric loves that Faustina laughs at all of his jokes. He also shared a story during his vows about Faustina being willing to fight for him. The story goes like this: One day when they were first dating and were out and about another girl was making eyes at Eric. Later Eric asked Faustina what she would do about it and she proudly and very quickly proclaimed, 'I'd fight her!' There is not a mean bone in this girl's body, but when it comes to her man, I don't doubt she'd put up a dang good fight. These two are perfect for each other in every way and are so very much in love!

They were married at Bear's Best Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada. Where they had a beautiful ceremony surrounded by family and friends from all over the United States and even as far as Taiwan. It was so easy to see how much these two are adored by all of their family and friends!

The couple had a traditional tea ceremony the morning of their wedding. Afterwards, they got ready for their ceremony at the Element Hotel in Summerlin, just minutes from Bear's Best. They were both surrounded by their bridesmaids and groomsmen who helped calm their nerves and get them ready for their big day ahead.

Faustina's dress by Oleg Cassini was absolutely stunning. It was a mermaid style with lace details, a low back, and a long train. Her bridesmaid squad was great at helping her into her dress, putting on her jewelry and making sure her hair and makeup by Paper Bag Beauty still looked flawless.

Eric and Faustina exchanged cards with heartfelt words of love, devotion and inside jokes before they saw each other for the first time. It was such a beautiful and emotional gesture and I'll encourage more of my couples to do the same. Tears were shed with love for one another and excitement for this next step in their relationship... marriage.

Eric & Faustina chose to share their first look outside of the Element hotel in Summerlin. The garden area outside of the hotel with shrubs and desert landscaping was the perfect backdrop for Eric to see his beautiful bride for the very first time. The back of Faustina's dress was the showstopper, so we had Eric turn around to see the back of her dress first before Faustina turned around to face him and embrace. It was a gorgeous moment. These two are so in love and absolutely adore each other. It was an absolute joy and a pleasure to witness and capture them throughout the entire day!

The outdoor wedding ceremony at Bear's Best Las Vegas Golf Course was held at 4:30 in the afternoon. The desert sun was just beginning to set as these two read their personal vows, said their 'I do's' and exchanged their wedding rings. Eric's ring didn't want to go on, but now that it is, I don't think he will ever be able to get it off!

One of my favorite photos of the day was right before Paster Ed pronounced them husband and wife, their faces and body language says it all. They were so incredibly excited to make it official, to walk back down that aisle as Mr and Mrs, singing and dancing the entire way!

The reception took place inside the banquet hall at Bear's Best. After the couple entered and shared their sweet, choreographed first dance, dinner was served. The couple chose beef and stuffed chicken with veggies and potatoes as the side. Later, Faustina & her father shared an emotional father-daughter dance which was dedicated to Faustina's late Uncle and Godfather, Richard. Eric and his mother also shared an emotional dance.

The couple cut the cake as everyone watched and captured the moment. These two started out feeding each other quite nicely and ended with a bit of a cake smash. But being the gentleman that he is, Eric helped wipe the icing off of Faustina's face. The night ended with a sparkler exit. And these sparkler's weren't the wimpy kind. Ed at Bear's Best know's how to do a sparkler exit. The couple ran through the tunnel of sparkling fire, stopping briefly for a kiss and then kept on running all the way to the parking lot!

Thank you, Faustina and Eric, for choosing me to capture your special day. I feel so honored to have been a part of your love story and this milestone in your lives. I can't wait to see where the future takes the two of you! You're so kind and so talented and I just know what lies ahead is going to be amazing.

I would also like to thank the staff at Bear's Best and especially Ed, the coordinator. He is such a kind and hardworking man and was accommodating to the couple's needs, the guests' needs, as well as my needs throughout the day. He did a fantastic job making sure everything ran smoothly! Thank you, Ed!!

I would also like to thank the videographer crew Dustin and Holly with The Bison and The Bird. These two are so talented and were so sweet. They communicated well with me throughout the day and made sure I was getting the shots I needed! I'm so glad I met you two (and thank you, Faustina and Eric, for bringing us together). I can't wait to work with them again, hopefully in the very near future!
