LAS VEGAS ELOPEMENT WEDDING VENUES
Should I book a wedding venue for my elopement?
One of the perks of an elopement is ditching the cost of a wedding venue. However, if you're wanting one location for both your ceremony and reception, finding a wedding venue would be best. Venues are also best if you're having guests in attendance, especially guests with limited mobility, as many of the beautiful desert locations require a bit of hiking on uneven, rocky ground. Or if you're simply needing amenities, like running water and restrooms, for you or your guests.
Now that you've decided to book a wedding venue for your elopement, you’ll want to find a venue with an intimate wedding and/or elopement package. You might not be needing all the services that a larger, more traditional wedding and reception would require. Thankfully Las Vegas knows how to do weddings and is a very accommodating place for all types and styles of weddings. Many venues in Vegas will accommodate your smaller guest list but some will be more geared towards elopements than others.

BOOKING A WEDDING VENUE MEANS GIVING UP YOUR DREAM OF BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS IN THE DESERT AT SUNSET, RIGHT?
If you've been dreaming of getting married at sunset in the desert, booking a wedding venue doesn’t mean you have to give up on your dreams completely. You can still have a beautiful sunset photo session in the desert, just the two of you, after your ceremony and before you sit down to have dinner with your guests!
Arranging your timeline in a way to accommodate this is possible and something you’ll want to talk to your wedding planner and/or wedding photographer about.
TIP: BOOK A WEDDING VENUE IN OR NEAR THE DESERT!
If you’re wanting both desert images and a venue for convenience you'll want to book a wedding venue that is located in or near the desert. Otherwise, your wedding guests will be waiting for a couple of hours for you to return.
AND DON'T BOOK A VENUE ON THE STRIP! The Strip is in the center of town and about the furthest from the desert. Finding a venue in Summerlin or Red Rock area, the far NW area of Las Vegas near Mt. Charleston, or anywhere on the outskirts of town would be best if you're wanting romantic, desert portraits at sunset.
