I'm rarely speechless, as you know, but with these two, there's so much to say and no words seem to do their story and their most incredible wedding day any justice... But I will try! Blaire and Aaron are travelers, they are adventurers, and they are madly in love! These two have a wonderful support network of family who just adore these two as individuals and as a couple!

Blaire tells the beginning of their love story best: "Aaron was having a party and my roommate received an invite and had me come along with her. A few months later we started dating and right away we both knew that we didn't want to be without the other. Last April at the Masters in Georgia, Aaron got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, I was so overwhelmed with joy that I wasn't able to say very much but smile and cry from happiness!"

We have to take a minute to talk awesome connections!

Iowa.   Aaron spent most of his childhood and his college years in Iowa. He attended the University of Iowa, which is an hour from where I grew up! When they saw on my website that I'm an Iowan, they knew I was the perfect fit! The Midwest is the best!

Texas.   Aaron & Blaire currently live and work in Dallas, Texas. I was born just outside of Dallas and lived there for a couple of years. Sadly I don't remember it at all. But I know (from home videos) that I had a thick Texas accent, haha.

Blaire's dress is by an Australian designer, Made With Love Bridal. Megan, with Makeup in the 702, did a beautiful loose, twisted bun for Blaire. Sara, with Cultivate Goods, created her stunning, oversized bridal bouquet with King Protea, shipped in from South Africa, cream and blush garden roses, and blue thistle.

Aaron's ring has mountains engraved onto the gold band, which was melted down from his grandfather's ring. It is truly one of a kind! His bolo tie is made with turquoise from Nevada and he wore a bracelet and ring he got when they visited New Mexico.

It was an emotional day filled with tears of joy and lots of long, beautiful embraces. I could feel and see the love in every moment of the day.

To keep the tears at bay, everyone had their own unique way. Blaire informed everyone that she was thinking of silly cats. Blaire's mom said she thought of wrestling and curling. Aaron, on the other hand, was doing math problems, haha. I love that each person had their way of attempting to hold back the tears. But you know, I actually love the tears. I love capturing the emotions and love and the real life. So, let the tears flow! ;)

These two wanted mountain views for their ceremony. And while Vegas isn't the first place that comes to mind for most, it's actually surrounded by mountains! Plus, Las Vegas has many of the top restaurants and chefs in the world, cheap flights to and from, and amazing hotel amenities.

The weather called for 50 MPH wind gusts and we nearly blew over outside of the hotel as we loaded the cars. But a little (or a lotta) wind was not going to stop these two from getting married with views of Mt. Charleston behind them! I've been to their ceremony locations many times and it's ALWAYS windy, even on calm days. I nervously trekked up and over to the spot and the wind was gusty. So I went a little further down the path and found the best views and to my surprise, the wind was only a slight breeze. It was a miracle, I'm sure of it!

Blaire and Aaron had the most beautiful intimate, adventure wedding with Mt. Charleston as a backdrop. They were surrounded by their immediate family and their sweet ceremony was performed by Aaron's brother with readings from their mothers. The sunset we witnessed afterward, was spectacular with bright yellows and pinks. One of the prettiest I've ever seen, it left us all speechless!

Thank you so, so much, Aaron & Blaire, for asking me to capture your love and your incredible Las Vegas elopement! (And for letting me come and crash your session with the videographer, haha!) ;) I'm so happy you stayed true to you and chose to elope! Las Vegas is one of the best places on Earth to get married and I'm so happy you chose it and our paths crossed. You two are two of the sweetest humans on the planet, are down for anything, so relaxed and fun to be around and so madly in love with each other! It was such a joy to witness and capture!

I'm so happy and honored to call you friends. I can't wait to see what the future holds for the two of you. I just know we will be seeing each other again soon and I can't wait!
