NEON MUSEUM WEDDING
DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS RAD ELOPEMENT

Tiffanie and Wayne were married at the Neon Museum in Downtown Las Vegas. The Neon Museum is one of the most unique venues in Vegas. It's filled with colorful, funky, retro neon signs that span the history of Vegas. They have the Stardust, New York, New York, the Terrible Herbst man with a mustache and the Golden Nugget to name a few.
These two got ready in the 'Real World Suite', located in The Oasis, Gold Spike hotel, which is just off of Fremont Street. The suite was filled with funky finds and mid-century modern vibes. The suite also had a few deck areas to hang out and enjoy the views. Inside there are multiple bedrooms, a large common space with a full kitchen and a beautiful light-filled getting ready area. As a lover of all things retro and mid-century, I was in heaven. I even spotted a few West Elm pieces. I think it's safe to say I'm addicted, haha.

Tiffanie and Wayne come from the great state of Kansas and are very proud of it! They, as well as several of their friends, have tattoos honoring Kansas. They are serious when they say they are proud to be from Kansas! Even though they were both living there, they first met while visiting Nashville. They hit it off immediately and the rest is well... history.
These two absolutely love brunch and have brunch at least once a week. So they set their wedding for 9 AM to allow for their reception meal to be a brunch buffet at the Golden Nugget. I love when couples choose to make their day special to who they are and to what they love! Morning is not the most popular time for a wedding, as you can imagine, but the biggest perk is you get to spend the whole day as a married couple! The lighting is so different than sunset and I actually quite like it. Another plus, we weren't rushing because we were losing light, we kept gaining more and more light!
They chose to get married under the Horseshoe Neon sign. Tiffanie wore a horseshoe ring and they even had a horseshoe cake topper that said 'Good Luck'. The ceremony was heartfelt and a few tears were shed with loads of laughs too. The Neon Museum cat was even in attendance and played with the roses that the flower girl dropped. That cat made lots of friends and made us all laugh!

After the ceremony, we walked around downtown Fremont Street area looking for old signs, cool murals, and rad buildings. Luckily a race had just ended so we were able to get in the street without getting hit by a car. Yay, we were so lucky! Fremont Street and the whole downtown area is constantly changing and they are doing a lot to revamp and revive it right now. Downtown Vegas has so much more character than the Strip and I'm so happy Tiffanie and Wayne chose to embrace that! Even their guests embraced it, wearing lots of velvet, leather, pops of color, and of course rad sunglasses! This entire day was such a joy to capture!

Congratulations Tiffanie and Wayne!! I loved being a part of your wedding day! Everything turned out perfectly and your family and friends are the sweetest. I love your energy and love for vintage Vegas and I loved getting to witness and capture your love for one another! I wish you many years of happiness, joy, and luck! And maybe I'll just have to visit you two in Kansas so you can show me why it's the best state! ;)
